Biden assembles cybersecurity ‘Dream Team’

After a number of recent high-profile cybersecurity issues, U.S. President Joe Biden has wasted no time in making plans to combat future attacks. Anne Neuberger, formerly of the National Security Council, was chosen by Biden to lead a newly created taskforce investigating the 2020 SolarWinds hack and will take the position of Deputy National Security Advisor for Cyber and Emerging Technology.

In creating this role, Biden has shown that cyber attacks are among the greatest threats to national security today and as reported by Bloomberg, Biden’s new ‘Dream Team’ face an extremely difficult task ahead.
