Mycena is a password security mobile application you can download from the Appstore or Google Play onto your smartphone or tablet. Mycena turns your device into a passwords electronic vault with three levels of security.
3. Why is Mycena different?
Contrary to other password managers, Mycena does not give you a master password. The problem with master passwords is if you forget it, lose it, or it gets stolen, you risk losing everything. Other differences are Mycena does not store your passwords on the Cloud, gives you three levels of security and lets you keep encrypted backups.
2. How does Mycena work?
First you create a fortress inside your device using your identifications. Mycena generates strong passwords for you, which are encrypted and saved locally. Passwords are protected by three levels of security that you- and only you - can access through a combination of fingerprint, pin, lock pattern, voice passphrase and face ID, depending on the level you choose.
4. What happens if I lose my phone?
Your Mycena account can be used on multiple devices. And if you ever lose your phone, a thief couldn’t access your passwords without your identifications, including your biometrics, while you can simply reload your passwords onto a new device with a backup.
