Worryingly, drivers of connected vehicles may not control their car, says Julia O’Toole, founder of security company MyCena. All the vehicles’ internet-facing communications are entry points to hijack your car or tamper with signals; it’s a serious matter for the auto industry. 

MyCena, a specialist in segmented access management and encrypted password distribution, is actively recruiting channel partners in the critical infrastructure and contact center industries.

MyCena’s drive for partners comes as the threats of phishing and ransomware continue to grow. According to Proofpoint’s annual phishing report, 83% of organisations experienced a successful email-based phishing attack in 2021 and 54% said they dealt with more than three successful attacks.
