Cybersecurity market doubles in five years

As the world continues to depend more on technology, cybersecurity is playing a greater role than ever before. A report in UK Tech News has revealed that businesses currently spend around $45 billion per year on security software, an increase of 50% since 2016.

According to the report, the greatest concerns to businesses include data protection, preventing unauthorised system access, and protecting remote workers. As cyber threats become more sophisticated this spending is predicted to grow further to an annual spend of $61 billion by 2025.
