Uber has announced a “cyber security incident”, the culprit of which was found to be an 18-year-old hacker infiltrating employees’ Slack network The threat actor compromised the Slack app, using it to send messages to Uber employees, stating: “I announce I am a hacker and Uber has suffered a data breach”, before listing the databases they had gained access to.
